I am assuming by modular, you are meaning mobile, since you mentioned a hitch. Modular are component built, and put on a foundation, and do not have a hitch. In any case, I have no idea where else to look for HUD tags, but, you maybe could see if it is made by Marshfield, which is a very popular manufactor of mobile homes in your area. It is made in Wisconsin, in the city of Marshfield. Hope this helps a bit. Marshfield calls their mobile homes, manufactured homes, by the way.

so by hitch, I mean the area the hitch would have been mounted to the house as it was build in two pieces so it could be hauled on a semi to the currrent location and the two halves assembled. Its always been a modular too me, but different areas might label it diffenently. The title, which doesnt include the hud info, considers it modular construction. We called wausua homes and they told us it didnt match any construction style of theres. but I will try marshfield if they are still in business. Thats the biggest issue is finding the manufacurer. I was told also alot of homes in my area were actually built in Indiana and hauled up.

There should be a plate at the very back of each section of house, like where a license plate is for a car. Those may be the ones covered by the new siding.
