Hinge for Cover Flap

Hey Houzz Community!

I want to create a concealed flap to cover up a release mechanism for a cabinet. I found some images online of these "flaps" that spring open and closed. What kind of hinge is this? I know the 9v lighter jack cover in my car has the same hinge, but I can't figure out what type it is? Can I buy the hinge on Amazon?

Here's how it works:

How does the flap close? What hinge is it using?

Thanks!

It is a springe hinge HOWEVER it is often welded to a cover plate sometimes found on mailboxes for instance. Maybe you can find what you need at a salvage or antique shop that usually have bins of non specific items or search mailbox door slot.
