curb appeal ideas?

Looking for any suggestions on continuing to enhance my curb appeal! I did all the landscaping in the block border. What can I do next to keep improving? New driveway? Something in front of the bare fence on left of house?

It looks to me like what you need is for your landscape to grow in a bit. I might put something on the right side of the driveway, but on the whole, your house looks great.

Thanks! Yes, trying to figure out what to do on the side!

Driveway looks okay, from what I can see, might want to focus on revamping the borders of it (walkway & opposite side ). Perhaps stain or paint fence on left & landscape in front.

You did good job. Just do a little bit more. I would go with wider stone walking way and one more row with stones in flower bed with mulch. Bring colorful pillows to the chairs.

Do you need the tall stockade style fence or could a shorter or more open one suffice there?

    Here are a few suggestions:

If you can afford it a new wider one material driveway would definitely up the curb appeal of your house. The brick on the sides to widen your driveway are sunk in so they were not installed properly and the different materials are distracting.

    Wow that looks awesome!

Is the block border level? Looks kind of wavy to me. If you level it, I suggest putting on some wall caps. Will look a lot better IMO. Possibly add a second row and then cap.

Your house is absolutely adorable! Personally I don't love the mixture of bricks and paver and concrete and the bricks look like they're sinking. I'd be inclined to remove them and replace with new concrete or go with the same pavers on either side and on the walkway. You could do all of it new, but I know concrete can be expensive so maybe you can add on to the existing concrete.

Yeah, it was all preexisting. I have definitely been thinking of redoing the driveway to all concrete and extending the width for two cars.

    Nice work so far!

Here are some ideas to explore (I tend to suggest landscape designs that need less water)

I'm guessing you have tropical weather (looking at what you have planted and by the looks of the trees in the backside of your home) so water might not be a problem. here are some more ideas:

Your house is very lovely! I would remove the white border, concrete the whole driveway ( double width) and possibly use the brick to construct the walkway. There appears to be a plant hanging on one side of the window near the door, if so, remove it.

Definitely do the driveway. If you can add a bit more garden to the small one between the driveway and the door, I would do that-maybe extending it under the first of those three windows, so the door doesn't look so crowded.

Do you need that fence for privacy or to keep a dog or children in the yard? If not (or even in the case of a dog/children), I would replace it with something more attractive or get rid of it altogether (but not if you have a dog of course-lol).

What you have done so far looks quite nice and the house is pretty, too!
