Different height window heads in same room?

We will be purchasing new windows for our home. Our living room has four double hung windows (two on one wall, two on another wall) and there is one bay window on its own wall. The fourth wall is an interior wall (no windows). There is 6 1/2" of space from the ceiling to the top of the trim above the four single double hung windows (one is shown in photo, left) and there is 10 3/4" of space from the ceiling to the top of the trim above the bay window (also shown in photo, right). I was thinking about replacing the bay with a triple double hung (same height as the four single double hung windows) but am told that it would not have the same head height as the four single double hungs in the room (because the window would go into the existing rough opening which likely has a big header). In this case, I am thinking that another bay is a better choice than a triple double hung which would be "lower" on the wall than the other four windows. Thoughts?

Thank you.

I dislike bay windows they IMO give no extra space and create all kinds of issues with furniture placement so I would change the bay into a picture window

Thank you, @Patricia Colwell Consulting. I appreciate your thoughts. We do have a picture window (without grills) in the dining room next to the living room that we plan to replace with another picture window (without grills again--husband's preference). All the other windows in our house will have 6 over 6 colonial. You can see the dining room picture window in the photo below. If I were to choose a picture window for the living room (rather than a bay or a triple double hung), as well, would you do just a picture window (with or without grills?) or flank it with double hungs?

I would do the same grills as the double hungs if you must have the grills or just match the other picture window I oviouslt don't like grills so the fewer the better IMO. You do not seem to need or want window coverings and that is a nice look but all the windows should have the same trim IMO to make them look cohesive even if the picture windows do not have grids.

Thanks, @Patricia Colwell Consulting. I am open to a picture window in the living room as well as the dining room but do wonder how it would look on the outside to have two picture windows "in a row." Also, the head of the living room picture window and the dining room picture window would be different which would be less obvious inside (because of the wall separating the two rooms) but would be more obvious on the outside. The distance from the ceiling to the top of the trim above the existing bay window is 10 3/4" and the distance from the celing to the top of the trim above the existing picture window in the dining room is 6 15/16." Both of these windows face our backyard and privacy is not an issue. Windows on sides and front of house have cellular shades. The windows do have the same trim (2 1/2" colonial) currently. When the windows are replaced, we will go with a 3 1/2" colonial trim aroud the windows to match what is around the doors. I appreciate your thoughts on the grills. I do like them for the style of our house (a colonial style cape). An option may be to do a picture window flanked by double hung in the living room (no grids on the picture window but grids on the flanking double hungs) and a solo picture window (no grids) in the dining room. I appreciate your comments.
