Flaming June rose?

Does anyone grow this rose or have any information about it as far as health bloom, fragrance ect..
Northland Rosarium has it listed this year and I just ordered it because it looks so beautiful but, I can't find any information on it other than what is on their website.

That is so pretty!!! I wonder how the fragrance is?

    They claim moderate fragrance.

I googled rose plant Flaming June. I did check out the Rosarium's website, and the first thing they tell us is that they don't ship plants. This company divided several years ago into a brick and mortar nursery, and the online business, which ships. I do not have that name. Anyway, Flaming June is an 8-10 foot climber, hardy to zone 5. It can be purchased for 21.95. The nursery opens in April. The photos are lovely on the website. They say Flaming June has a moderate fragrance. I think it's a lovely rose. Diane

Oops, my info is from the Rosarium Garden Center which does not ship. Dirt Digger, you ordered from the online business which does ship. It's so confusing. Diane

I have just never heard of this rose and it's new to their site.

If you get the rose, I hope you report back on it, color is really nice.

Here’s a puzzle: HMF lists Flaming June as a polyantha from 1931. Northland notes its a named after a painting by one of their customers…must be a really, really old customer! Not sure how that age math works out, seems like we have found the world’s oldest rosarian.

Lol I did look it up on help me find and saw that.
have already ordered it so I guess we will find out. I did send Northland an email asking if they had any other information on this rose and if it possibly has another name that they know of.
I'm interested in the disease resistance if it is as old as they assume.

Well I got a reply from the nursery and it turns out that this rose is actually the impressionist, but they couldn't sell it under that name.

No wonder why I was so drawn to the photos, a friend of mine grew one in her yard years ago. It was absolutely beautiful but also BS prone. So disappointing now I'm trying to figure out what to swap it for.

Now that makes sense, it has nothing to do with the 1930s polyantha. I grow The Impressionist, and I didn’t even recognize it from those pics. The coloring has been highly variable for me:

I hope you find something else you like equally as well.

Dirt, that's to bad. It's such a gorgeous color. That was nice of Northland to get back to you so you can decide if you still want it.

I am so bummed, but yes also very relieved to know before I planted it too later on be disappointed. They have several other roses that I've been contemplating for a long time and just haven't pulled the trigger, so maybe it's a sign 🤔
Considering Sally holmes, Rose De rescht, purple splash, or moonlight romantica four totally different roses lol

A couple of votes for Sally and Rose de Rescht

'De Rescht' rusts in my area - I call it 'Rose de Rust'.

Numerous photos of THE IMPRESSIONIST ('CLEpainter') are here:

Two photos sent to HelpMeFind by Northland as 'Flaming June' are here:

It's to bad the impressionist doesn't do well here, it's very beautiful but I don't spray so I know that would be a disappointment.
I have heard many great things about Sally and have wanted to order her for a while, now that I have the space I guess it's time to give her a try
