Very impressive! Looks as though it is superior to Dancing Flamingo. The clump shot almost looks as though fans are double scaping.

Congratulations for many reasons. First the daylily doesn't looked faded to pale pink in the heat. I've said this before; how many pale pinks can one have? The second kudo is because the name doesn't start with an "S"...............I think you are getting the hang of this hybridizing business..............Maryl

Maryl - Those clump shots were taken in late morning, and not at the end of the day. So it does fade more than that. But most of my pinks were very much faded in the bud last summer, so they opened faded at the beginning of the day. Bubblegum Queen held its color better than most of the pinks in my garden.

Mantis - I always have several fans on it with instant rebloom, so there is some double scaping. It does perform better for me than Dancing Flamingo, wth more buds, better increase, and a rounder bloom with a mroe pronounced edge.
