Olympic Gold Medal is a winner in my book. Yours look fabulous.

    Obscene Gesture

    Obsession always looks wet.

And in this case it is.

    Lol "pirate chick" Paula!

Saija I also think Olympic Gold Medal is wonderful.

Beth it is so appropriate that Old Faithful has the O. grass behind it spewing like a geyser.

Steve I do really like a shine and Obsession certainly has it.

Shadow I want my Orange Marmalade to grow up to be just like yours.

hosta_maker Oil Paint is terrific. Has it been stable for you?

Old Glory pic from last year. It is a fairly big one and I did not have a spot for it.

    Orange Marmalade

Oze is on the Don Rawson list of difficult to grow for a reason.

Excellent Paula! A beautiful Orchid too.

Your Oil Paint is very different Gary. Same question for you. I know it is supposed to be unstable. Have you had reversions to remove?

  • garyz6ohio

I've never removed any reversions yet. I like hosta_makers Oil Paint better than mine as mine has always had more white to it than I like.

oil paint has been good, no cutting on it yet. i have gotten a few seedlings from it too.

last summer i crossed it with a fragrant one. it would be nice to restore the fragrance of invincible.

Here are my tiny Os: both in their first year. Tiny Tiny.

When this one grows up, it will have an amazing flower head.

This is the only pic of Orange Marmalade I could find. lololo 😝

Ok, comments now….. Paula good jokes today, although it took me a minute to get the pirate chick and the top states 😅 nice OM and lovely orchid!

Saija, I agree that your Olympic Goldmetal is stunning! In both photos!

Beth, nice On Stage, I love the blue margin.

Steveduggins, love that shiny Obsession and your dances are terrific!

Shadow, I hope my Orange Marmalade grows up to be like yours 👍🏽

Hosta_maker, Oil Paint really shines……is it always that shiny?

Peren, that Old Glory is beautiful and so happy you got a picture of your OM…. It’s about the same size as mine.

Gary, nice Olive Branch…..your Oil Paint looks so different from hosta_maker’s….. wonder why that is? I am always looking to learn.

    Old_dirt, that Old Glory——WOW!!

mbug, nice Olive Bailey Langdon……a couple of leaves are reverting….to what? I think you win the prize fr the best Orange Marmalade! So big! I didn’t know it got that big!

deb oil paint gets its shine from a cross with invincible.

tcing streakers is generally a money loser for them. unstable plants have cells in the meristem that move around. thus so many of the tc attempts aren't true to the original. and if they don't wait long enough for them to grow larger before sale they can get unpredictable results. ...too much white, not enough streaks etc.

if they are honest they keep the ones true to the original. and have to toss the rest.

...some hedge their bets and rename the solids as a sport, rename the white center ones as a sport and on and on. then they get sold with the new name

old_dirt you have such beauties. Another great Obsession and incentive to get Old Glory planted.

mbug wow O Marmalade & One Last Dance.

Debra we have magnificent OM's lol. It will be nice to see both of ours progress over time.
