I do not have a picture, yet, just a floor plan. My next dining room is 10’ x 11’10” with 3 walls & no windows. I have a hutch (needed for height, display space & storage) for the end of the room, a 54” round table with 6 chairs and a neutral area rug.

I will use 4 chairs around the table, but the other 2 will fit next to the hutch.

#1) What color should I paint the walls? I am thinking white, a warm white or something to bring as much light as possible into the room. And, btw, should the whole apartment be painted the same?

#2) I would like to paint the hutch. I like some accent colors, but I am afraid I will be forced to use that color elsewhere in the apartment. I plan to use neutrals in the living room and like the freedom of changing up pillows, vases, etc.

#3) If I decide on a color for the hutch, should I have the back of the shelves painted a different shade of the color or a different color?
