Well we need to see your space and you need to get samples done in your space . Seeing anything in someone elses space really never helps unless they have your exact space . Post pics of your space with your stuff and also pics of the samples you had done. That is how you decide on a color. Post those pics here in a acomment or 2 . Do not start another post.

If you want a medium brown I would just do the dark walnut and keep it simple, but as suggested you will need to sample in your space.

We are renovating a home for my parents and just went through this same process. We ended up water popping, and going with Duraseal Provincial. Saw them yesterday for the first time and are very pleased with the result.

Went with 50% jacobean 50% natural and no water popping.

I wish I would have gone darker to cut out the red tones and for a richer color or water popped. Overall, it looks decent, just not what I was hoping for.
