Oh, Quicksilver is gorgeous! Does it have blooms just at top, or bigger area? I'd spray if I 'had' to, but prefer not. I have way to much to take care of as it is! I've been trying to do more perennials and shrubs and things that are less maintenance. Trying....

Disease resistance depends on location. If you are going to be asking specific questions, you really should reveal your location.

In addition to rose fungus disease strains varying in virulence with geographic location at any one time these are liable to mutate and become different. So that even in a spot where a given rose variety has been free of a nuisance level of a specific fungus for years it may become prone later. Also, there is supposed to be an effect on fungus susceptibility produced by how well individual rose specimens are supplied with particular soil minerals, with for instance rust and black spot severity each being affected by the levels present of specific ones.

Colette is a favorite of mine and is tough as nails and very cold resistant. We don't have fungal diseases on roses here. Diane

I did not know there was a geographic nature to fungus and disease resistance for roses. Is this true of other plants? We are in the Pacific Northwest, I do nothing for it and it grows well here.
