Blue Hawaii, Prairie Sky, Tidewater, Halcyon, Blue Arrow, Blue Jay, Hadspen Blue, Blueberry Muffin,Jetstream, Mourning Dove, October Sky, Queen of the Seas, Tarheel Blue.....but if I had to pick one it would be Prairie Sky in 1/2 day afternoon sun.

Ken is right about Camelot. For me, Camelot and Prairie Sky are identical except that Camelot stays blue longer. My most photographed blue is Touch of Class…

Halcyon! The stud of them all. Check out his/her progeny. Not the biggest, not the smallest, not the bluest, but the BEST and most reliable hosta for me that keeps returning (since 1999) no matter where I put it. A real workhorse. If I only could choose 3 hosta to have, Halcyon would be one of them (solid blue).

Out of what I grow now longest and most intense blue goes to Valley Blue Curacao.

I love Skywriter for combination of shape, color, reddish stems like whole package is great.

Indigo always attractive and is a standout in small package. Mystic star is moody and soft.

I think Blue Shadows looks pretty cool, although I don't have them yet. I ordered the last two from NH Hostas back in February.

What about Neptune? It is voted Hosta of the Year 2023. I have it and I also have Joy Ride. I took a picture of both of them side by side (can't find it now!). Neptune is more frilly and has better blue color compared to Joy Ride---in my opinion, of course!
