I haven't had my Frigidaire apart, but the predecessor Kenmore did not have those devices inside. In my 36-inch Frigidaire Gallery, the largest hob is to the right, has its own "generator," and doesn't seem to be lacking in power.

I would be interested myself in those devices' purpose. Did you check to see if there is a "spare" rattling around in the chassis somewhere?

Search your model for online parts diagrams to compare them to what you have.

Are you pressing the element's "P" button to put it into Power Boil mode (max. 10 minutes). If the center burner is powered at the same time the right-hand burner is, its power may be reduced as explained on page 14 of the Use & Care Guide.

I don’t know if a part of your range is missing, but all the burners on my Frigidaire induction stove boil water in less than 1 minute using the Power setting.

You called for service? Or just tried the electronic surgery without even looking at a parts diagram?
