Remove all of the wall decor, patch holes and paint the patched area. If you still like the color without all the business, then paint entire wall and find a nice piece of large art with lighter tones for the wall, hanging about 6” above sofa. Stable end tables flanknig sofa with lamps. Brighter colors can be integrated with 2-3 throw pillows.

I think the wall, looks fine, but, the decor needs to be changed out. Its all too small objects, and unrelated to each other. It is dragging the room down. You need to also add a pillow or two the color of the wall to the couch. There is nothing else, that can be seen in your picture, that relates to that wall. A nice large painting would look nicer there, than what you have. Also on the right hand side, what is that string thing, coming from the ceiling down across the wall? Looks like Christmas lights.. That needs to be removed too.

i agree the small decor has to go. the wall color is ok though i dont typically like accent walls. the other issue is the overlapping couches. one of them needs to go.
