Replace spotted gum floorboard

Is it possible to replace sections of spotted gum on chipboard? We have issues with mould on the chipboard and may need to replace a few sections. I'm hoping I can do it in sections and not all the flooring. But is it possible to do it and not have it look obvious the boards have been replaced?

Do you have extra of the same flooring? If so the T&G can be cutoff, the old pieces carefully cut out and the new pieces glued and face nailed. If the existing is glued down this just got exponentially tougher.

Unfortunately don't have extra flooring. It most likely glued down. Does that mean we can't replace it in sections?

2 issues, matching the flooring and glue will not allow easy removal at all. I would think the chances are slim to change out only a few boards.
