Particleboard Subfloor

We're nearly done with our kitchen renovation. When we pulled up our old floor, we found particleboard subfloor. We were planning to put down @weshipfloors Supercore. The local hardware store told us it was fine to lay down new particleboard to match the rest of the open area so we went ahead and did it. Now we're not sure how we're supposed to level it prior to installing LVP. We've read conflicting reports about using leveling compound with the moisture etc. Any ideas? It's too late to pull it all up and start over. Cabinets are already in as well as plumbing/electric.
