What is the history of this plant? Has it been outside in the cold? Did you rescue it from the kerb? Can you show the pot and the medium? And can you outline the treatment it has had so far e.g. watering?

First off, it's not a Corn plant (species of Dracaena), it's a Yucca elephantipes.

I rescued the plant from my daughter's kitchen. I am attaching a photo of the pot. It was planted in Miracle Grow potting soil. It was probably overwatered and was definitely pulled on by her 2 yo.

Yuccas need a lot more light than a corn plant (Dracaena fragrans.)
