backsplash Q revived

Yay! The kitchen is finally coming along! We have floor! No appliances yet but they are the color of the fridge in the background (stainless steel). Cabinet handles are champagne bronze and kitchen sink is a bit of both! You can see the gray color that is in the dining room and the remainder of the house. What you don’t see is the wooden shelves we’ll have next to the faucet as well as the opposite side.

Attached are backsplash options! Although I love the emerald, our kitchen is far too dark for it. So I’m HEAVILY leaning toward the Marin aloe green. B/c there’s so much asymmetry between ceiling and sides, I’ve given up my dream of two different color backsplashes (white on one wall and green on the other) and am leaning towards one (more neutral) solid.

ONE ADDITION ELEMENT - the peninsula. Thought about putting the floor tile on the backside OR a white-ish similar tile to backsplash. Thoughts about this?

Also, I’d definitely like to take time up to ceiling on peninsula side. Do I have to do the same on the other side? I KINDA like the idea of having some gray in the kitchen to pull the dining room and kitchen together and doing an under cabinet backsplash all along this side with the exception of the slide in range which will go up to the ceiling. (Also - there will be wooden shelves on the other side of the sink as well!).
