Just got my Cambria Everleigh countertops installed today. Cabinets next. They look whiter than I thought they would and there is less sandy gold than I imagined from my sample. They do look more beautiful in person. The camera doesn’t show the proper color tone. The one pic in the laundry room shows there is a variation from a pure white. If anyone needs more pictures, I will be happy to put them on this site.

I have two seems one at the sink below the window and one at the stove. The guy that planned the layout did a fantastic job. And the installer did too. No issues there.

Jeff Grant, would you mind sharing the name of your new backsplash tile? It's beautiful!

@ Tanya Couture are you still happy with your counter top? Do you have to baby sit it? I have selected this for my kitchen and still debating between this and Quartzite:)

@sunarakaa I am still very much in love with them. They are so easy to clean. Coffee, red sauce and wine come right off. I like to use the weimman quartz and stone citrus spray every few days to give it a nice shine. You will not be disappointed.

Btw- people I know who have quartzite have complained about stains, but I do love the look especially taj mahal.

Looks beautiful. We are looking at the same..wondering what finish on faucets ? I see a lot of gray/silver toned faucets but i want to do a black/gold option maybe champagne bronze to go with color theme in the rest of the house…would love to get input and/or see pics of that. i have the small sample but hard to tell. Thanks

@rkandrh we did moen brushed brass faucets and myknobs honey bronze cabinet pulls. There's a little difference in hues but it works well. We have an open layout and I wanted the kitchen to be as warm as the rest of the floor. I love it. You can scroll up to see my kitchen photos.

I’m getting the doors on my cabinets today. I went with stainless faucets but plan to go with a champagne bronze handle. Not sure, until I see the doors in though. Will post a couple pics when there is progress. The colors in the countertop lends itself to any possibility. Very versatile. I have a black and creamy white dining set and it looks great with it. Even considering black handles.

Hi there, I am seeking pictures of Inverness Everleigh with white cabinets and a Carmel wood toned island with natural lighting. My designer really likes it, I just want to ensure that the sandy tones in it are warm enough. Also reviews if possible. Thanks so much!

Do you all think the Everleigh pattern is too busy to also use as the backsplash?

@sabrand it's really not as busy installed as I thought it would be. I think it would look great as a backsplash. Wish I did it because it's incredibly easy to maintain.

I am trying to find a backsplash now and kind of wish I went with the countertop as a backsplash. I thought it would be hard to match up a pattern that I would be happy with on the wall.

what are your plans for a backsplash?

What kind/brand and color of sinks is everyone putting in with the Everleigh? Stainless? Porcelain? Composite? Thanks in advance.

We went with a large, single bowl sink from our fabricator, and I have no regrets. Here is a picture of our backsplash from Tilebar which is also available at Home Depot with a different name. The color is a close match for BM Fieldstone, recommended by Cambria.

Looks fabulous!! Thanks for the input!

If you have any of your tile left, bring a sample to a countertop distributor and compare the tones with their samples. Everleigh has a slight taupe undertone, at least mine does. Or bring some favorite samples home to compare. My instinct would be to stay with a very plain. Solid color or very very subtle pattern. All of this depends on the room or rooms adjoining and what you plan for them. Keep it simple and add more texture with pictures and mirror etc. To me, your floor is what stands out in the room and you don’t want to have a conflict with other elements or it could be a disaster. I can only give you my opinion. Someone else may disagree. Good luck! I hope I’m able to see what you choose.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. That's what i was thinking as well however there are such beautiful countertops like Everleigh available. I do have extra tiles so I'll take some to a fabricator and that will hopefully give me some clarity. Thanks so much

Thanks so much. I was thinking the same thing. I love the Everleigh quartz but don't want the floor and countertop fighting each other. I do have extra tiles so will bring those to a fabricator to select countertops. Hopefully that will give me some clarity. Thanks so much for your thoughts.

We are updating countertops and leaning toward Cambria - Everleigh or Colton. Would Everleigh look ok with these cabinets? We also have a cherry floor in the adjacent room. I don't see many pictures of it matched with cherry wood and the mood board on the Cambria site shows coordinating it with a cool blue paint, which makes me question it. The mood board for Colton has some warmer hues in it, but the Everleigh wave design seems prettier..so there is my dilemma. We did already replace the flooring - it is more of a taupe color now and not ivory. And the backsplash will get replaced too. Here is the full slab image from Cambria of Colton, for reference. Thanks!

Your countertops look so much like ours in our basement. We have cherry cabinets down there, so I took our sample of everleigh and tried it there. I think it would look beautiful.

    Hello all,

I’ve never posted a question here before. i have a galley kitchen with no island. Do you think Everleigh would look pretty in this type of kitchen with light oak wood caninets? Thank you all.

  • last year

Yes! We love ours. We don’t have a galley kitchen and I was afraid it would be too busy but it’s perfect and beautiful . We also have white oak cabinets.

Thank you DKR. It’s nice to hear you love it with your white oak cabinets

We are in the middle of building our home. I am leaning towards Cambria Everleigh with warm white kitchen cabinets. Has anyone installed Everleigh for their countertop and backsplash? Wondering if that is too much white with warm white cabinets. Our kitchen island will be a stained white oak color. All of the other cabinets would be a warm white (I haven't chosen a paint color). I want a clean, soft white, and beautiful kitchen. Hoping some of you can help. Thank you!

In case someone wants to see the Cambria Everleigh with a backsplash that is not the Everleigh, here is a photo showing our backsplash which is CEGI Odonata in the Whitetailed color - https://www.cegitiles.com/product-page/odonata-whitetailed
