The beautiful tile may be celtic but you don't have to do a theme around it. The floor and also wall tiles remind me of sponge painting. Pick out a contrasting solid wall colour depending on whom uses the room. Pink or purple to be girly. Yellow , gold, or green for gender neutral. If you want rugs continue the contrasting colour. Same for towels and kleenex box. Can't have a bathroom without one of those ya know.

I would oull the chatcoal color from both the floor and walls. Use it for towels and soap diapenser. But also, find a piece of art and put it over the toilet instead of the towels rack. Something with movement, like a forest scape or botanical abstract.
