Sounds like an incredible piece. If you are feeling generous and don't need money then post it for free on craigslist or on Free Cycle, however, people might just use it for scrap. You could also sell it on Craiglist, Facebook Marketplace, or EBay. Again, if you don't need the dough, sell it for a few hundred bucks and make someone very happy.

Some appliance restorers consider appliances to be "antique" if they pre-date 1960. Similarly some antique car authorities consider antique cars to be over 45-50 years old. Technology is a little different than furniture, rugs and such.

Technically, ”antique” is a U.S. customs designation for items that are at least 100 years old. Most classic cars are not actually antiques and therefore don’t have certain licensing and dealership exemptions that antiques would.

I am not sure that factoid is really useful to most people and I would probably also call a 1950’s appliance an antique, but technically it is not.

Vintage is also a suitable term for an older appliance.

Those butners are called ”Daisy Wheel” type and are one of the many Chambers designed features that make that specific brand so sought after. Of the numerous brands of vintage ranges out there, this one is especially popular and should get a response for sure when you list it!!
