Help with my post Ian yard!

We lost a lot of trees/plantings when Hurricane Ian hit our area in October (live in Southwest Florida)… slowly we are working to get our landscape back in shape …need help with front/side yard …. We will be doing the work ourselves so would love ideas ….I love a look with different textures/repetition in beds/clusters of mass plantings …. But not too many different plants …. As you see under one window, we have an existing green arboricola hedge so wondering if I should put the same plant on the other side of the house (as the tall hedge). We also have raised brick beds flanking porch that need plants … something that will contrast with the plants around… Below you will see photos of the beds that need filling … plants I like include:

Dwarf podacarpus, Carissa, iris plants, arboricola (which we currently have as a hedge), Philodendton Burle Marx, some crotons, sea grape, grasses, bougainvillea, Florida privet, xanadu, Ilex Holly, Japanese Boxwood, Chinese fringe flower, scrub palmetto, firecracker bush, blue porterweed.
