Tall Wall weird

This is in my guest bedroom and I want to do something that’s visually interesting on this wall. It’s across from a window. Ceilings are 14 feet tall. Ithr room isn’t that big

Pretty room. Why not just hang some beautiful art there? It doesn't look as if you need a dresser, but if you do you could put one there with a mirror to reflect the light and for guests to use. Or a painting over a dresser/console.

If no furniture, I'd just go very large and interesting.

    This is a textile hanging:

    this is a rug...

a simple arrangement with coordinating pieces:

this is a framed shower curtain (for large and inexpensive, if that's a consideration).

Definately not your wedding pics or familt photos in a guest room. I need to see the whole room too. Please no shower curtain framed or otherwise. Post pics of the whole space so we can see what your style is . Post the pics here in a comment do not start another post.

A guest room begins with a very comfortable bed and mattress, great bedding, good lighting and comfort. A rug is nice underfoot. Calm, appealing to both genders, uncluttered and peaceful.

Your guests don't care about a wall.....

Show the room in entirety, what you have thus far beyond THAT wall as from what I can see, there is nothing?. Take pics all angles, and add a drawing with dimensions of walls windows , opening , closet etc.

Hi. Looks like a room with good potential.

Decorating comes last in a space. So, I cannot answer your specific question now. You can go ahead and remove family photos, which are not appropriate for a guest bedroom.

    Steps

    1) Find inspiration photos of what rooms you like and they work with the rest of your home.

    2) Create a to-scale floor plan with all doors/windows.

    3) Plan what size furniture will go the space.

    4) Plan decor.

A surface, bench, mirror, art. It’s not what you add, but how it suits room and how it ”feels”. Without seeing your furniture or knowing your style, hard to be specific.

Mirror and console to set keys, etc. And some generous size hooks for a robe, sweater.

Not sure I am understanding. You want something more above your shelving and photos??? I have one 5x7 and a small collage frame in each of my offspring's old rooms that are now guest rooms. The photos are lovely but maybe not there and too many.......

So post pics of the space and then you will get lots of help here IMO a guest bedroom is like a really good hotel room the best mattress you can afford and the best bedding then you do the rest. The bedding for my sets the style and color palette . My guests love the fact they have a coffee maker in their room for early risers . So please more info then we can help with the wall which to me is not a huge issue .
