Well it isn't a shrub. It's a perennial. Some idea of where you are located would help cut down the possibilitites.

i see the cilantro down there.. you ought to be able to ID it by smell... if you crush a leaf ..

you re going to have to figure out how the get the huge weed out without destroying the favored crop ... i might take a tablespoon.. and dig out the cilantro.. et it aside.. destroy the pot media and weed.. refill pot.. and replant cilantro.. if you you really want that rather boring plant in that glorious pot...

Thank you for the repsones. I was told the previous owner plotted peppermint, but it doesnt smell like it. I will pull them out.

You can be assured they are not any kind of mint!! I can see no squared stems or serrated leaf margins. IMO, some sort of weed species. Pull them out carefully to save the cilantro or cut them off at ground level and keep at it if they reemerge.
