My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

ISO advice on sconce placement please

Would like thoughts on where to place sconces in our front entry (electrical plan in process.)

Questions:

  • About how high would you hang the floating console?
  • Where to place the sconces in relation to the console?

Info:

  • Wall will be 126" wide
  • Ceiling will be 10' 1.5" high
  • We will be using a floating console 60"w x 15"d x 12"h (not yet purchased but planned)
  • We will have 2 sconces hung with bulb facing down, 12"h, 6"w, 6.75" extension, 4.5'' Round backplate (specs if more info needed)
  • We are tall (5"11 - 6'6") so like things on the higher side
  • Overhead pendant TBD
