I'm seeing conflicting information re: the depth for above cabinet vanity lights. We have a recessed medicine cabinet. I've read that the light should extend past the cabinet so it hits the sink. Then I've read the opposite saying that the light should hit the top of the cabniet so the light disperses and doesn't cast shadows on your face. Anyone with some expertise on this? TIA.
