Landscape Design Trees

lavender twist weeping redbud

Hello,
I am in zone 9a north central Florida. I really like the lavender twist weeping redbud tree and want to plant it in front of my house which has west sun exposure. I am reading conflicting information about sun conditions this tree could tolerate. Does anyone have experience with this tree?

ive grown hundred of redbud.. what do you want to know... the fact that your fave is a weeping version makes no difference.. a RB is a RB is a RB ...

do you see many. or any.. in your local area.. do they sell them down there ...i know RB are bullet proof up here in MI .. i have no clue in your area ..

According to local FL sources, at the southern edge of its native range - which is what you are - its usually abbreviated lifespan may be even shorter and it may not bloom well.
