Daisy Gardenia size

I bought a Daisy Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Daisy') from Lowes recently, grown by McCorkie Nurseries in Dearing GA. The tag says "Average mature size, 3'H x 2'W".


But gardenia.net says 4'H x 5'W!

That's a 150% difference on width, and that greatly affects whether I can plant it where I want it.


Any suggestions on what to expect?
