We have a new business of planting native plants in small city plots.

We think we need to protect the plants for the first year or two from rabbits, but do we need to protect them from aggressive city squirrels too?? Or do the squirrels seem to leave the native plant plugs alone?? ?

My son wants to make a chicken wire loop around EACH PLANT to keep out both. Verses simply putting up a low rabbit fence around the perimeter if just rabbits are the problem.
