Not really. The coloring of the beards can vary widely depending on plant genetics and breeders will often select for specific beard colors. But whether they are a solid color or with colored tips is pretty immaterial as the bicoloring or colored tips is virtually indistinguishable when compared to the falls and standards. They are really a directional marker and landing pad for pollinators.
