Do we paint the brick??

We are torn on whether or not to paint the brick in addition to the siding. It’s an old house and we do plan to do a big renovation in a year or two but it really is in desperate need of a new paint job ASAP. Do we paint it? Leave it? White wash it? (We are doing white for siding.) help!

Absolutely not, no way would I paint this lovely brick. It gives the house character and defacing it would be forever.

How old is this house?

We also have a brick home. Do a German schmear instead or a limewash.
