My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Not likely. Wait until the end of May in the south or the end of July in the north (in July if near Canada). Alternatively and very carefully, scratch with your fingernails the base of each stem to see if you "see green". Or cut the stem from top to bottom in tiny increments until you "see green" or get to the bottom. They break dormancy by first growing new stems and many, many more weeks later then leaf out from live stems. Keep the soil as evenly moist as you can and maintain 3-4" of organic mulch past the drip line.
