How beautiful and refreshing! All are wonderful but my favorites are the Flamingo Dancer and Dream Come True. The former because I am bloom-greedy and there's something very unique about the latter. Is it generally a good performer, DCT?

Munstead Wood I just got it this spring and I am in love with its color, but it must be the least photogenic rose there is because that luscious, royal magenta-crimson color never comes through in pics. Knowing it in reality, MW is obviously a stunner.

You have an interesting collection- sort of a "Come-for-the-tea-Stay-for-the-stripey-climber" I love it! They are gorgeous! I can't wait to see what else you have.

Beautiful Sylvia! I have Lavender Veranda and agree that it is a special rose.

And Munstead, such incredible color that is so hard to capture.

Artist - Dream Come True is a very healthy, disease-free rose, and more resistant than most of my others to chilli thrips. These are among the reasons I kept it instead of sp’ing it along with the other HTs in its bed.

Formerly - the General is one of the two teas I took with me when we moved. I acquired him probably in 2014/5, so he has been around for a while. I love the incurved blooms and the messy but exhilarating centers. Thriving in clay soil here.

Karen — Your summation was terrific! Alas, I have so little space here, there’s not much more left to show. My collection, I suppose, is eclectic…I never had a master plan, just bought what I liked, checked HMF ratings and comments, and (most helpful) paid attention to this forum!

Jackie: you express my thoughts perfectly. I love being surprised by my roses. Plant DNA does so many interesting things.

Rosecanadian- you are such a positive person!! I always enjoy your upbeat comments. Flamingo Dancer is a perfect rose, or it would be if it were fragrant … on the other side of the wall shown, FD is in its way to covering a shed roof. Did I mention it has zero thorns? Another bred by Burling Leong.

Kristine — it’s taken about three years for Lavender Veranda to attain its present size and shape. It gets afternoon shade in its location— did not like being in all-day sun.

Memorial Day. absolutely adore this rose.

Darcey Bussell. She gets to 6’ x 6’ every year.. Here she is still manageable.

Lavender Crystal, a Burling introduction. That rare thing — a fragrant mini.
