Advice walls color/design

I need some advice on how to paint this living room/kitchen (the first photo represents the entrance to the apartment), the color I'd like to use is the one in the last photo, my idea was to paint the entire two walls extend up to the beams on the upper floor, ideas/advice on the choice of color and which walls to paint are welcome.
