I’m interested in installing LVP all over my house and having a tough time picking the width. I don’t have a very big house and it seems like the ones I like have a 7 or 9 inch width. Is there any guidance on which width to select? Any concerns or tips if we were to go with 7 or 9 inch? Install will be click (no glue). Will be installed for basement and 2nd and 3rd floors. Image of living/dining room attached to provide a visual that my home is not very big.

Plan is to get rid of existing hardwood floors and install LVP with a lighter color. I’ve been very disappointed with my hardwood floors, primarily b/c of poor installation (it creaks everywhere!), the dust and the fact that we have kids and plan on getting a dog (these floors won’t survive lol).
