It's hard to tell, but there's no hallway ceiling fixture? Where are your lamps in this space?

There are three recessed ceiling LEDS and a small table light on top of the unit. Tried to show here with all lights on (and it’s later in the day so a bit more natural light).

I was thinking a mirror or something like these in the space with the red rectangular box??

Can you paint the door?

I don't really see a dark entry as a bad thing though--let it build up drama for the bright rooms to follow.

It would be difficult to paint the door (though you’ve made me wonder if a unique mirror on the back would help or be completely crazy). But I like the build up drama perspective.

The area where you want to place the mirror across from the bedroom doesn't seem to me like it would lighten the entryway, it would only lighten up and reflect back to the area where the light is already coming from.

I'd get an entry rug that spans the whole width of that area and goes underneath the shelving by the door. The dark floor only makes the area darker and the colored rug you have lightens things up, it just needs to be bigger.

Your round mirror next to the door is a nice pop of light in the dark entry. Perhaps replace it with the long hexs mirror you have pictured below. It would make reflective a larger surface area.

Lastly, your current lighting scheme seems great for this area and I'm glad you can brighten it up for utilitarian purposes.

Is there a closet to the right of the entry in your photo? If so, you could put a mirrored door on the closet which would reflect some of the light, but maybe not enough to make a difference. Hard to say from this perspective.
