Ahhh, glorious, a bit of paradise you have there, is that rose 'Therese Bugnet'? Helianthemum are touch and go this far north, but sited properly and being lucky, they can at times manage, unfortunately no longer see any places bring them in, love the dogwood as well!

Splendid!

Rose is Therese Bugnet-the only survivor of my heritage rose period. Splendid now and occasional blooms for the rest of the summer. I gave up and just allow cornus controversa to sucker-shades the bed too much but is lovely this time of year.

'Therese Bugnet' is a bit special to me for being a very lovely reliable rose of far north origin, it was bred years ago very near to my vicinity and a rose having very much made itself around the world. 'Louise Bugnet' I also love and 'Marie Bugnet' being what I consider of the best of the compact white rugosas.
