I love tracefloyd’s ideas. A gallery wall can be ever changing as you find new pieces, and it can de done very inexpensively through flea markets and second hand shops.

Love teal accent wall. If you can’t paint, you might look for an interesting weaving or textured blanket with nice colors. Teal tones are happy but not over whelming.

How many people will be working in the room? Will you need chairs for people dropping in?

In that room just me. I will have a small couch and 2 chairs for when I have a management meeting.

Does Teal go with the carpet though already in the room? I am not allowed to use a rug… they won’t vacuum my office if I have a rug.

Blue and Teal go together and work well with earth tones. The closeup of the carpet shows threads of blue and teal so of course! There are many shades of teal, so I agree, get your furnishings and decor first, then pick a wall color that goes with them and the carpet.

I’m kind of thinking I may go with Navy chair and couch… my current office I’ll send a picture later today when I get back to Houston. The desk will most likely be a brown color.

There are 2 bright blue colors in the rug - I would use them throughout the room. Various shades of blue work really well together, along with wood tones, coppers, golds. Blues don’t need to be matchy matchy.

Is there a window? If so, find some fabulous curtain panels and maybe a fun piece of art that you can use for color inspiration. Pick the wall color last.
