2014 cabinets should not appear "very worn". Contact the manufacturer about the warranty on them. Most good brands offer a lifetime warranty. If there is a lot of exposed wood, they will have to be stripped for the best end result. That is a ton of work, and a ton of money. Also, define "very worn" and your care routine. If waxes or "restorers" or grease, or water is the culprit in them being worn, then any new finish will have the same issue.

Were cabinets replaced with factory finish cabinets, when you did the remodel, or were they repainted by a professional, or was this a diy paint job?

I have found a company that will refinish and repaint my cabinets. Owner said everything said here about it being soon for showing wear. Most of the wear on the door to the garbage/recycling bind which has high traffic.

I have resolved the cabinet problem , or I will have soon, at a cost of $10k, but I think they actually be better than when new.

What I need now are decorator ideas that I can use to update the color profile of my kitchen. What is 2023 best white color for cabinets and maybe a pop of color for the walls.

Sorry but there are few cabinets that even have a25 yr warranty let alone a lifetime. We need pictures of the space and your cabinets to even begin to answer the questions . First do you have any idea what brand the cabinets are ? The pics mean little without brand name but usually I would not waste money on refinishing cabinets that do not have all drawers for base ones .10 yrs is to me a pretty normal time frome for cabinets to show some wear but I need to have mor einfo.We need pics of the space as it is now so just post those like the others in comments.

Looks like your cabinets were very white. Maybe look at Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. Its a very nice bright white. Looks similar to the pictures of your cabinets. I would have them repainted, because, I really dislike drawers in bottom cabinets, but, thats all up to what some like, and some dont.

Almost all cabinets at a mid grade level and above offer a lifetime warranty. That warranty should still be in effect here if they were a mid grade and up line..

10K is VERY low for stripping and recoating all of those. BEWARE that you will not end up the the same result. They may not be fully stripping, or they may not be using a true industrial wood coating. You need to dig into the details.

Nothing seems amiss with the actual color choice of what you had. If you want to change colors, look at doing something that is actually a change. Like a green, or taupe, or navy.

Any of those warranties are for the original purchaser so lifetime of them so no warranty here for sure. I agree 10k will get you a finish that might not even last the 10 yrs you. I have no idea why anyone would prefer to get on their hands and knees to access lower cabinet storage when drawers are so accessible .BTW any cabinet made in China might ahve a warranty but try to use it you will need to pay the shipping to China to get any kind of action so IMO buyer beware . A lifetime warranty is only as good as the maker wants it to be . Just read the disclaimers normal wear and tear is not covered .
