Yellow is the hardest color!! If you find one you like go at least two or three shades lighter on the color chip. It intensifies once it is on all the walls. then you have warmer yellows and greener yellows. Warmer would most likely look the best for a traditional look, but a green yellow can be contemporary.

C2s: Frittata or BM 2160-50 Oklahoma Wheat?
Frittata is a nice warm yellow, not to garish, but not too watery either. Oklahoma Wheat is a peaceful yellow. Looks beige on color chip, but warm yellow on the wall. Changes with the light. Our furniture in the rooms we used them in, is dark reds, brown leather, navy curtains and white curtains

Have dark woodwork throughout our home, and we used a yellow very much like Fresh Air 211 out of the Benjamin Moore gallery. Warm, but not toooooo yellow.
