Begins with a Bang really appeals to me, so glad your season is starting! We had the thunder earlier too, sky darkened and it cooled off fast. Not a drop of rain.

I guess I had better set the record straight. The name of the first daylily is 'Begin with a Bang'. I keep putting an 's' in.

Kay, Begin with a Bang is about 4.5 inches across. The scape is a nice height--probably 30 inches in our garden.

Maryl, Forbidden Territory's color is not my favorite. I don't really care for lavender or mauve. It needs to be deep purple for me to like it. I also don't think the flower has a very pleasing shape.

Nice group. It has been dry here too. Mornings are cool but then we heat up. Suppose to hit 90's today but will go back down over the weekend.
