The blooms are starting to pick up

Whale Tails today, I am pleased that the pattern is still there with the heat today.

and yesterday. A new plant, seems vigorous.

Aztec Beauty never has many buds and few fans even though I have had it over 10 years I guess. I love the flowers though, the sun is on it so hard to see just how pretty it is

Blue Moon Rising

Westbourne Seafoam Candy actually bloomed a couple of days ago, but I did not have a camera when I saw it. Love the texture of the blooms

Got Bragging Rights last spring, this is its 1st bloom. Big bloom, but as you can see, right on the ground. I will give it a pass this year since we had a horrible summer then a harsh cold spell. Then when I got it, it was supposed to be 1 fan. I received 2 but both had been chopped up badly with few root. It has multiplied nicely though.

Violet backed Starling again, looks a little different but I like this

Memory of Morning, I crossed this with whale Tails

No blooms for a while on Womanizer. New last year, I remember being pleased with its performance. I think the 3short scapes are on the newer fans, I hope they will all be like the 2 tall ones next year

Blue Breasted BE and Violet Backed S. look so much better with some heat. The colors on both are pleasing today. I think my favorites of these are Malaysian Marketplace and Glory to His Name.

I like Rudy's Funhouse. Goes well with my Rudy's Sister in form. I see it's a Pat Ball hybrid. ....I tried to grow Aztec Beauty years ago. As you say, beautiful blooms, but mine didn't make it over the winter with my pot system...........All your others looking good too........Maryl

Rudy’s Funhouse looks very tall. It will be striking in a clump. I like the looks of Bragging Rights.

Nancy, what a nice post! I really liked several of them and don't know which is my favorite. I always love Malaysian Marketplace, Memory of Morning is a beauty! I really like Braggin Rights. Blue Breasted Bee Eater is a pretty one.Rudys Funhouse and Whale's Tail are both delightful. Beautiful, Nancy.

David will go bananas over Seafoam Candy. It is an alluring pink, ruffled and folded. I see that Memory of Morning is a Screen Pattern kid. Deep fissures here are forming in the dry ground.

Malaysian Marketplace has always been a favorite of mine. I do think Rudy's funhouse is going to be a nice one, It is pretty tall, around 40". I had admired photos I had seen of it, and finally ordered it last year from Pat. Maryl, Aztec Beauty acts like a delicate evergreen, but it is a dormant. Something else going on with it I guess. I do love the flower on Bragging Rights. I know I have heard that Pearce plants don't get as tall as he states, so I was not expecting 40", but really? Maybe he added a 0 accidentally to the 4"? Hopefully, it will be better next year.
