Before opened its first bloom today, less than ideal. it is pale and splotchy, I am blaming it on the cool night temperature. I almost trashed this daylily, instead I moved it and kept it because it’s an early. I am surprised how well it has done…..the biggest scape has 5 way branching and over 20 buds. I lost a few buds to the dry weather here. It will be interesting to see how it fairs in the coming weeks.
