Again, so many of my favorites also here in my garden, but mine aren't blooming yet. Love Mean green, Mr. Mayor, Jellyroll Norton, and Tahiti Sweetie. The others are looking really good, it really looks as though bud count is still good for you. I have several that have less than 5 buds per scape! Plenty with normal counts, and a few with more than normal. I know I love to walk thru my garden in the morning with my coffee, but you must feel like you are in a wonderland.

Thank you, Nancy. As usual, I have greatly enjoyed the garden and I am adding qiite a few perennials this which I am enjoying. yes, there are plenty with good bud counts, a few didn't even shoe their faces and some are under par. I surely don't need to complain since so far, the deer have not been a problem for me. I am saying "goodbye" regularly to favorites old and new, but that is normal too. I doubt we would enjoy them as much as we fo if they bloomed all the time. And I will get to see yours as they bloom too.

I can see that you had much more rainfall in the early stages of growth. Many of these also flourish here--at least in good years. Is it Lucky Streak? Jan Zoo and El Desperado are filled with buds. You seem to be at mid-late season.

I just love all the wonderful clumps on this thread, especially Mister Mayor and Jellyroll Morton. Jan Zoo is such a bright one, and Crystalline Entity has dreamy colors. Thanks for sharing your beauties with us!

Very true, Mantis. A lot of rain early and then it stopped. I have been watering this week and the ones watered are doing fairly well. Yes, I am in the mid late to late stages. I do have quite a few rebloom scapes, but that is typical here.

Thank you, Dbbra for looking and for your sweet comments.Kate, I h

Hope your weather ride wasn't too bad tonight. I hear trees are down in Tupelo. We are still waiting for it to get here, and although we have fairly intense weather forecast they have missed lately and we are still waiting for a bit of rain,. Mean Green has had a ridiculous umber of blooms.

Amd Pink Tarantula has had a pitiful show this year,; very unusual,

Beautiful daylilies! I can't seem to choose my favorites. Jelly Roll Morton is always a favorite of mine. I also like Lucky Streak and Mr. Mayor. Mardi Gras Indian is the brightest orange in our garden. We love it.
