Makes sense, thank you! I just got a bunch of pics of the mother plant :) I don't see any of the green on mine that these pics are showing of the momma. But I also can't tell if mine is red or purple...sometimes it looks one way to me and sometimes another(?).

I wonder if any of the readers here might be more likely to find heuchera posts if they were lumped in with perennials? Years ago (on Garden Web) when the heuchera forum was first formed it seemed like a good idea, but the initial momentum hasn't continued. I’m sure lots of gardeners grow a few heucheras but perhaps not enough to attract them to a dedicated forum.

Thank you both! I usually post in multiple forums on here, but must have forgotten to this time, so just made the change. I did post on FB too, about a couple of weeks ago, but no responses thus far.

Check out some online photos of "Plum Pudding" and see if it seems like a match.

possibly Frosted violet. Here's mine.

Thank you both!! My eye is so untrained that I'm not noticing those subtle differences between them yet. Both Plum Pudding and Frosted Violet, as well as a Mulberry I saw on FB, look like possibilities to me!

I have a Frosted Violet and a Plum Pudding. Looks more like Plum Pudding to me.
