Purple Dwarf is exactly that. Sent as a bonus-absolutely stunning 8-9 inch blooms on a short scape sitting on the foliage.

This is the bottom third of the front bed-loved this view-Plastic Pink Flamingos, Garden Butterfly, Ruby Star Sapphire, MisterMayor, Miss Mayhem, Mister Butters to name a few. This part of lawn goes to tree line-the opening in the trees goes to another pasture we rent for hay.

How many different beds do you have? What a challenge it must be to keep those weeded and protected. I know you have some tricks in the weeding and planting aspects. Kensington again draws my attention. Glad that Sarah escaped the deer. People see a picture and don't realize the size. Frankly, I gave away Jellyfish Jealousy--just too big and sprawling a plant. (But the blooms are nice.) The rain will certainly help with rebloom.

I'm jealous of all the rain you've gotten, but I wouldn't have wanted the storms that came with them. I'd love to see a bloom that perfect on Soli Deo Gloria. I thought the first one that bloomed here was pretty good, but the camera picked up every tiny blemish I didn't see with the naked eye. Your photo of Exotic Starfish really appeals to me. The bed shot looks so lush and colorful. I think it's my favorite photo of the bunch.

Hmmm, Mantis, let me count!! I have the big front bed, the tree bed you see in the distance in the photo, beds around three sides of the house, a round bed in front of my house where a tree had to be cut, a bed around a tree still in front of my house, the

”Debra” bed under my peach tree, a linear bed beside the peach tree, the roadside bed, the extended roadside bed, the driveway beds, and the jungle bed in the back with older cultivars that is notoriously neglected. Cardboarding has been a lifesaver in most of these beds. Deer protection is never ending. My husband saw a monster buck in our back yard this morning. Time to spray again since maybe the rains/storms have abated for now.

Sarah Christine is much larger than the 6 inch registration number-more like 8 inches.

I certainly don't envy you the storms and hail! I had my fill back in March. We have had a little rain today, very slow but almost constant since last night. Weather reports talked storms, but I have not seen any. Your daylilies still look just beautiful. Your Warm in Winter is much deeper color than mine has been. Indian Giver has certainly been giving you its all this year. Good luck with the deer!

Debra, that is my problem with Soli deo Gloria as well. No clean blooms! Wishing for rain, just rain, for you and others who need it.
