Tub glass door selection

Interesting shower /tub glass door. When closed, what percentage of the tub is covered and what was the reason for such a different choice?

Hi Nancy. The glass is hinged on the left and can swing out to leave the tub open (as in photot). 2/3's of the tub is covered by glass and the request was from my clients so they can enjoy baths without feeling enclosed in glass. It's a modern look & they love it!
