I have carpet in the sitting room and in the living room. The kitchen and the hallway are already having hardwood floors. We are planning to replace the carpet in the sitting room and the living room, resend the floors in the kitchen, dining and hallway and stain them again. It is a ranch style home with vaulted ceiling in the living room and some nice pillars. We live in Indianapolis, so the light in the sitting room is limited during the winter months. I’d like you to recommend a few stains for the hardwood that are appealing to most buyers (eventually plan to sell the home), are classic and enlarge the space/keeps it light and airy. The walls are beige sand in color and the furniture is gray ish.

We have already signed up a contractor for this work. im so confused with ths color choices. Any help is appreciated.
