mixing metals - help

I'm doing a master bathroom remodel. I've chosen champagne bronze for my bathroom accessories. I love the color and everything seems to work great. However, when I removed the Delta Stryke tub filler out of the box, it was covered in fingerprints and it looked really brassy compared to everything else. I spent 30 minutes with a gentle cloth trying to remove all the fingerprints. I was somewhat successful but I absolutely do not want something I have to spend a lot of time maintaining. Has anyone else had that problem with this color or produce? I'm thinking of taking it back and maybe mixing metals - doing champagne bronze with brushed nickel for the tub filler and I did find a hardware that mixes the two colors together. I've never tried two metals and I'm not sure if it would work.

Thoughts on both the Delta Stryke tub filler champagne bronze and sticking with one color throughout, or doing the mixed?
