Totally agree with Patricia. Most all of the metal finishes will change/tarnish in some way, except for polished chrome. It will last for a very long time and look good throughout. It is classic, works with all styles, and is very easy to care for. Unless you are very good with colors and finishes, I wouldn't recommend mixing.

Totally agree with Patricia too. Gold came and is gone, and now its back, and I hear complaints about it all the time, so it will soon be gone again.

Thank you all for your input. I've always disliked brass and gold so I am surprised that I even like this champagne bronze but it goes so well with my countertop and flooring. Maybe I'll have to relook at brushed nickel or even venetian bronze again.

@bdasie same issue ! we have marble/quartz tiling and worried the champagne bronze might overpower, plus its so much more $$$. What did you decide to do in the end?

I decided not to mix the metals and just to go with the champagne bronze. It gives me the spa like warmth I wanted. I have oil rubbed bronze throughout the house and I love it, but I just didn't feel I wanted that rustic casual look for my master bathroom retreat. I will have to go with a frameless mirror of some sort but all else is decided now. We haven't finished the bathroom yet so I hear you on not wanting it to overpower the room. When it is done, I'll post a picture
