Over a week ago my Panicums (Heavy Metal and Red Sunset) and Lobelia syphilitica and L. cardinalis were coming into bloom--many weeks early. This morning I see that the Geum triflorum is sending up a second flush of bloom. I've never seen that before in all the years I've grown it, admittedly in another garden 4 miles up the road.

We've had lots of rain, though not as much as last year, and a coolish spring/early summer until a couple of weeks ago when it turned hot, though not appallingly so.

Anyone else seeing very strange plant behavior?
