A beautiful group of tets! You know I love the teeth so I love Forestlake Ragamuffin and Bass Gibson. I also like So Beautiful to Me and Sweet Isabela.

Amazing clump on Megatron! Mystery of the Ages is a pretty bloom.

Yes, "awesome" is the word. You complained earlier about Fearfully. Have you changed your view? Mystery looks very good, though here is not as nice as last year.

Once I moved FEARFULLY to its new spot 2 years ago it has been an outstanding plant. It does send up instant rebloom scapes. MYSTERY OF THE AGES has been a consistent performer for me following the year I planted it.

Mystery of the Ages and Imperial Decree are my top two, but that's also a nice Clump of Bella Lugosi.............Maryl

The clump of Megatron is impressive! Your Forestlake Ragamuffin actually shows pink. When I grew it , it always looked orange with never a drop of pink. I'm drawn to Mystery of the Ages and Purple Cheetah today. Let me asking you about Webster's Pink Wonder. It's registered as only having 5 buds. Does it have more than that for you?

I usually get 8-11 buds. When WPW gets to clump status, it is just as impressive as MEGATRON.

Thanks David! One of the reasons I never got Websters Pink Wonder was that registered bud count of 5. I bet it is impressive in a clump. Do its scapes lean?

I have never noticed the scapes to lean. I've got a large clump. If you want to experiment with it, I can send you a piece in the fall.

I have had much better performance from Boss Lady than I ever did for WPW, which I disliked here.

Having never grown BOSS LADY, I can't comment on it. I've been tempted to grow Pretty Desireable to just compare the two. WPW is a good parent since I believe that there are 144 intros with it.

I like the toothy ones, David. I only have a few with teeth, and they aren't very toothy. I will add my 2 cents and say, I don't have Megatron or WPW, but I don't think Boss Lady can be beat. Its only problem is having too many blooms and can't hold up its stems. Of course, we went thru a period of heavy winds right when it was in full bloom ths year. That happened to some others that not normally do.
